Whitegate is the name of the village in East Cork, Ireland where I grew up with my grandparents for a time. The sea wall was literally a few yards from the front door of our home. We had a small day boat that was used for fishing & then later our home was always an open house for friends & family to enjoy the successes of the day's fresh catch.  I found the name for my company to come quite naturally as my family taught me how to cook, entertain and cultivate a community.
